This week at Take a Word the theme is MOSTLY BLACK AND WHITE.
This is a very old, worn and dirty family photo I found at my ant's. A don't even know who they are. What caught my eye was the man's relaxed and confident attitude.
The mermaid is Ann Blyth in the movie Mr. Peabody and the Mermaid (1948). I cutout, colored and applied filters to the image. Thanks to Beth Rimmer and Createwing Designs.
This week at Take a Word the theme is A SPLASH OF RED. It took me ages to find, cut and edit all these girls. Background is mine. Isn't it amazing to observe how fashion changed throughout time? I think our time is the best when it takes to clothes because finally we can wear whatever we want.
Went to the fortune teller / Had my fortune read / I didn't know what to tell her / I had a dizzy feeling in my head / When she took a look at my palm / She said son are you feeling kinda warm? (Fortune Teller - written by Allen Toussaint and recorded by The Rolling Stones)
This week's challenge is hands at Three Muses.
I used elements from Tumblefish Studio, Beth Rimmer and my own stuff.
