Blue angel

Sometimes, when no one is looking, the peaceful dove which guards the Pantheon of the Fatherland and Freedom in Brasilia leaves its post just to soar freely in the blue sky.

This week the theme at The Three Muses is SHADES OF BLUE.  I used my own photos to do this. Thanks for passing by.

Lovers in Moonlight

MOON is the theme at the Three Muses this week.

I apologize to Mr. Marc Chagall for being  inspired by his awesomely beautiful work Lovers in Moonlight.

A dreamer is one who can only find his way by moonlight, and his punishment is that he sees the dawn before the rest of the world. Oscar Wilde

This week at Take a Word the theme is WINGS. I went for a classic approach: angels.

Broken Hearts

“When those you love deeply reject you, leave you, or die, your heart will be broken.
But that should not hold you back from loving deeply.
The pain that comes from deep love makes your love ever more fruitful.”
Henri Nouwen

Take a Word asked for HEARTS and I got myself wondering about this universal pain, after all who has never had a broken heart?

My kind of angel

Take a Word asked for ANGELS and here it is my own version of them: a lovely kid with butterfly wings.

I was searching for a meaningful quote on angels and stumbled with something better, quotes from children about angels:

"Everybody's got it all wrong. Angels don't wear halos anymore. I forget why, but scientists are working on it." - Olive, age 9

"It's not easy to become an angel! First, you die. Then you go to heaven, and then there's still the flight training to go through. And then you got to agree to wear those angel clothes." - Matthew, age 9

"Angels talk all the way while they're flying you up to heaven. The main subject is where you went wrong before you got dead." - Daniel, age 9

"My guardian angel helps me with math, but he's not much good for science." - Henry, age 8

"What I don't get about angels is why, when someone is in love, they shoot arrows at them." - Sarah, age 7

"Angels live in cloud houses made by God and his son, who's a very good carpenter." - Jared, age 8

"I hear funny angels all the time in my dreams. And I'm sticking with that no matter how many people tell me I'm crazy". - Molly, age 8

Even angels pray

Até os anjos oram.

Hello! I did this angelic piece for Take a Word which theme this week is ANGEL.

I've not been around lately because I moved to a smaller apartment and I'm still struggling to turn this place into a home. I hope I can soon figure everything out and finally find time to play with you all again.

Thanks for visiting and for leaving a comment.

Angel in foreground by Tigg-stock (deviantArt); blue angel by Nilton Mendes; Wall by Shadowh3 (deviantArt).

Não tenho andando por aqui ultimamente porque me mudei para um  apartamento menor e estou ainda lutando para transformá-lo em um lar. Espero conseguir resolver tudo logo e finalmente ter tempo para os desafios novamente.
