Vanessa Redgrave's time

Hello, blogfriends. This week the theme is TIME at Take a Word. Vanessa Redgrave is a brilliant gifted artist who has made ​​good use of her time leading a life that is worth living.

Living a steampunk life

Steampunk fashionistas, Lauryn and Guillaume (Brit Lauryn has always had  a weakness for French men), has just arrived from a travel to Moscow and are already planning a trip to Prague, always in their zeppelin.

Hi there! This is my not so steampunk contribution for this week challenge in The Three Muses. This theme is always a hard one for me, but at least I tried...

Hi! This week The Three Muses want UMBRELLAS. In my opinion, even closed umbrellas are gorgeous if they are taken by lovely fashion icon Audrey Hepburn.

You can find Audrey's photos in Dr. Macro. I did the background by mixing two stock photos by jesuisautre and stock by brink (deviantArt).

The Westons visiting the Paris Salon

Emma and George Weston were very fond of their elegance and when they went out they always took a time choosing the perfect outfit for the event. Back in those days, they were considered quite eccentric, especially when it took to hats, but, as wealthy as they were, nobody cared.


I had fun doing this digital collage to this week Take a Word theme: HATS.


Background is a photo of the Salon de Paris in 1869. His hat, their brooches and the texture by Finecrafted Designs. Lady on left is a Dover sample. Lady on right was provided by Art Creation Friday in one of their challenges. Her fancy hat came from a plate of a 1900 magazine . I can't remember where the gourgeous couple came from.

Green: Mata Atlântica

Hi, folks. As the theme this week on Take a Word is GREEN, I decided to introduce you to a tiny bit of the Mata Atlântica, or at least, some of its inhabitants. A green paradise that we almost completely destroyed. Nowadays, the little that is left  is protected.


I used five photos to compose this collage, two of them by Luis Florit; I couldn't identify the authors of the other photos.

Harold and Maude are my sweet odd couple. I love that old crazy lady and morbid needy Harold. So I imagined them enjoying a heavenly garden in a borrowed bike. :)
