This week theme at Take a Word is: DOOR. Having Helen Keller (US blind and deaf educator, 1880-1968) quote in mind, I did this quite literal illustration of it...
The doors are Google Images; the lady is from Cool High Quality Pix; there's a Jen Maceyunas paper I used as background.
Beautifully done, Christine, and oh so true! I like the way you put the light focus on the door.
ResponderExcluirI really like this, Christine. The saying is so true.
ResponderExcluirInteresting, Christine.Great card.
ResponderExcluirI didn't know Helen Keller was the one who said that. I saw the movie about her with Patty Duke and Anne Bancroft when I was 11 years old. It was such a powerful movie. Your collage is perfect for the quote.
