This is my contribution for this week theme at Take a Word (please, enlarge to see the details). More than an icon of beauty, Audrey Hepburn was a fashion icon. She could look boyish or extremely feminine depending on the photographer's intention. For this piece I was looking for her princess persona. The bigger photo is from the stage play Gigi (1961) and the smaller is one of her shoots for the movie My Fair Lady (1964).
Background: HP design; Lace Frame: Beth Rimmer; Hepburn photos: Doctor Macro; queen's anne lace frame: mine; Lace corner: mine.
Awe she was so magnificent Christine...and a nice person too...and she works so well with lace. A beautiful creation for Audrey.
ResponderExcluirSo beautiful, Christine, lovely soft shades & images!
ResponderExcluirYour collage is exquisite! I loved any movie Audrey Hepburn was in. I saw one of her movies, though, called "Wait Until Dark," and it scared me so much I had to sleep with the lights on.

ResponderExcluirAh, now this is the most exquisite piece of soft and gorgeous 'feminine' art I have seen for a long time. Christine, my friend, this is one of your very very best so accept loud applause from me.
ResponderExcluirWhat lovely interpretation of the challenge. The lacy pegnoir is too delicate and feminine for words. Thanks for sharing!
