Stars shining bright above you
Night breezes seem to whisper "I love you"
Birds singing in the sycamore tree
Dream a little dream of me
I chose this delightful song as an inspiration for my contribution to this week theme in Take a Word: DREAM. Dream a little dream of me came out in 1931, music by Fabian Andre and Wilbur Schwandt, lyrics by Gus Kahn. Several artists recorded it, including Ella Fitzgerald and Dinah Shore. but the version that always come to my mind is the 1968 recording by The Mamas and The Papas.

I know what I have to do now !! Must find that video of The Mamas and The Papas at youtube !! :-)
