Shadow creatures meet Mr. Bones

This party is giving me the creeps. Time to get out!

Mr. Bones is from a Antikamnia calendar (thanks Johanna for the tip); the boy behind the door is a Pringle Hills Studio freebie; the wiched girl is a free wallpaper; the background is the Versailles Ballroom by ED resources (DeviantArt).

Fading colors of the past

Hello, friends. The Three Muses asked for something VINTAGE. I did a remake of this collage, which I never liked much. I like the new version more. Hope you enjoy it too.

Hi there! Take a Word asked for a POSTER this time and I made this one for the play currently staged by my daughter's theater group. The photos are actually screen shots of a teaser they did to promote the play.

Behind the curtains

Hi there! This week, the challenge in The Three Muses is THE SEA. Good occasion for some mermaids, or at least one, better than that only if she inhabits the Caribbean sea and has a slight resemblance to Daryl Hanna. The curtains represents that this is only a dream and you are back to cold wind and luckily wild geese heading South :0) .

The background is a photo of mine. Mermaid is a blending of two Daryl Hanna's photos. 

Balloons in the desert

Hi! This week the theme is BALLOON in Take a Word. It seems to me that the beauty of hot air balloons  can be better appreciated in the arid landscape of deserts, don't you think? I have my doubts regarding the opinion of the thorny devil though. Traveling on one of these beauties is a dream of mine I intend to fulfill anytime soon.

Roses

Hi there! The Three Muses asked us to JOURNAL A QUOTE,  a song title or a single word. It's Spring down here and we have flowers everywhere that's why roses came to my mind. I chose a poem and a quote by George Eliot. I tried to emulate a journal page, but though I love digital art I'm never satisfied with the result when it takes to journaling. Never mind...
