This week Take a Word theme is Vintage. I chose the sixties for my piece, as I love its fashion, make-up and hair style.
All images came from the 60's perfumes and make-up ads, except for the three young women's picture that is a page from a 1969 magazine. You can find most of them at Addie's on Flickr.
Backgrounds are Princess of Shadows', at Deviant Art.

Wings For Gabi
In a far far away land, a beautiful young woman dreamed of having wings on her feet, so she could go - with lightning speed - where wanted to go. Thus, since 2011 was the year of God Hermes (or Mercury), she asked him for this gift. He granted it and they toasted with champagne, her favorite drink!

Mail Art: Botanical
Here it is my contribution to this week challenge at Take a Word: Botanical.
I had this beautiful scans of a philatelic collection. The entire collection is about plants (you can reach it here) and I was craving to use some of it. I mixed them up with this lovely Tiziano painting (Flora - 1517), a gorgeous Beth Rimmer's background and voilà!

Children Playing on the Beach
This week challenge on Three Muses is "Artist of Choice". Very difficult choice I'd say. There are so many artists I appreciate. Finnaly I've decided to play with a Mary Cassat's painting I like very much: Children Playing on the Beach. It was painted in 1884.
Background is Beth Rimmer's and the frame is a photo of mine that I altered.

Butterflies
Beatrice is upset because her brother, Tom, refused to ask for directions and now they are irrevocably lost in the middle of nowhere.
Hi, blogfriends! This is my entry for this week theme at Take a Word: butterflies, of course!
Let me tell you why I've not been around much lately: I took some days off and went on a little trip. Before that I was struggling with lots of work in a post graduation course I'm attending.
Additionally, I've been kind of paralysed by the terrible tragedy that is going on in Brazil caused by rain. Death toll rise to 630 and thousands of people are now homeless.
