Green: Mata Atlântica

Hi, folks. As the theme this week on Take a Word is GREEN, I decided to introduce you to a tiny bit of the Mata Atlântica, or at least, some of its inhabitants. A green paradise that we almost completely destroyed. Nowadays, the little that is left  is protected.

I used five photos to compose this collage, two of them by Luis Florit; I couldn't identify the authors of the other photos.

  8. Thank goodness that all the beauty hasn't disappeared but what a tragedy the devastation happened in the first place. We have read a lot about the disappearing forests in your country. Your picture shows hope. It's gorgeous.
