Where we love is home, home that our feet may leave, but not our hearts.
~Oliver Wendell Holmes, Sr., Homesick in Heaven
The theme for this week is HOME in Take a Word. This is my contribution.
The couple is a black and white old photo that I colored; all other elements (altered) by Createwings Designs.
a wonderful collage, and the quote is perfect for this!
ResponderExcluirA wonderful quote Christine and your collage is perfect. I thought the couple might have been your parents. xx
ResponderExcluirI love your scene of home, Chris. and Holmes' quote reminds me of the aboriginal name for home -- the "belonging place". We all have one. (So glad it's warm and sunny in your world. Chill factor here this morning is 40 degrees below zero, and our 11.4 inches of new snow is piled high in front of our house, and frosts the trees and shrubs....beautiful to see, deadly to be out in for very long!)
ResponderExcluirYou've made a lovely picture from your collage elements and you've made a very happy home
ResponderExcluirThis is lovely and kind of touching...beautiful work Chris.
ResponderExcluirYou've made a very homely home, Chris, and the quote is spot on.
ResponderExcluirsuch a sweet and loving home! beautiful. xo
ResponderExcluirThis is superb, Chris. It has a gorgeous, painterly look. I love it!
ResponderExcluirThis is so wonderful! The couple looks so full of love, and how could you not love a house with a chocolate heart?
