George Clooney: a gentleman of our time

Hi! This is my gentleman for this week theme in Take a Word: GENTLEMEN. Instead of working with lovely mustachioed vintage men, I thought it would be refreshing to have a more up-to-date subject and why not charming Mr. Clooney?
I also tried to evoke the work of Joseph Christian Leyendecker in those gorgeous magazine covers, but keeping the contemporary look. Mr. Leyendecker is the theme this week in Digitalmania.

  4. Hi Christine!! Your magazine cover is superb in every way and a great tribute to Leyendecker. I hope you are going to post it at Digitalmania!
Your knowledge of the English language is amazing to me. Not only are grammar and spelling "spot on" but your use of the vernacular is fantastic. How many people who have English as a second language know how to use the word "cocky" correctly? You nailed it!! Pompous, arrogant, cocky ... they all mean the same thing. The word "swells" isn't used in that context now but I know from old movies that it means "pompous man".
